Confirmation Classes???

Confirmation Classes
Rev Dean will be holding confirmation classes shortly,
if you know of anyone that would like to become confirmed please let the office know on 5625 4121. Both adults and children are most welcome. In confirmation those who have been previously baptised come to confirm their baptismal promises and join with the other candidates to receive the laying on of the bishop’s hand with prayer… All who have been baptised and confirmed are called to study the Bible, to take part in the life of the Church, to share in the Holy Communion, and to pray faithfully and regularly. We are called to share with others, by word and example, the love of Christ and his gospel of reconciliation and hope. We are called to love our neighbours as ourselves, to honour all people and to pray and work for peace and justice.

Raising funds to create the John McIntyre Centre at Raymond Island

Capture

The Anglican Diocese of Gippsland has owned and reinvented the site of A’Beckett Park Raymond Island over the last few years to establish The Abbey , a centre for spiritual growth and for the environment.

To see more of the The Abbey and what is offered please go to their webpage here: http://theabbey.org.au/

also at A’Beckett Park is an older A Frame building which has housed many events and the camp kitchen over the years.

Our late Bishop John McIntyre had a vision for A’Beckett Park and indeed this building which he believed could house a conference centre.

Please join us in raising funds to grow that vision and redevelopment at Raymond Island.
