helps parents and carers to
· Learn to read their child’s emotional needs and understand their emotional world
· Support their child as they learn to manage their emotions
· Enhance their child’s self-esteem and attachment
· Honour their innate wisdom and desire to support their child’s sense of security

Our Parish Op Shop and Warehouse are looking for more volunteers, especially cash handling front counter support.
If you would like to volunteer at the donations warehouse or town retail outlet, or volunteer at either site, please speak to Chloe on 0478 101 246.
Safe Ministry requirements are mandatory but help to complete this process is provided.

A very informal gardening group will gather on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month at Christ Church, 1.30pm, BYO tools.

This is not a structured working bee, but for people who know a little or a lot about gardening and can use their own initiative.

DACS WALKING GROUP- AT MCNEILLY PARK-JACKSONS DRIVE DROUIN

Meet every Wednesday morning at the Country Club entrance at Mc Neilly Park Jackson’s Drive 8.30am to walk the lake.

If wet the group meets at Drouin McDonald’s for coffee at 9am.

The Crossing will reopen as of 21 January 2026

The Crossing is always seeking volunteer cooks for community lunches and to prepare community freezer meals supply . Volunteers are also needed to share the bookshop and café/kitchen tasks. Please see the team should you wish to volunteer.

The menu at The Crossing at 134a Princes Way Drouin remains diversified with sausage rolls, toasted sandwiches, salad rolls and soup, with a cappuccino, tea and hot chocolate. Take the opportunity, if you haven?t for a while, to drop in and have a coffee or some lunch, while enjoying the good company of our volunteers and other guests.
Community Lunch takes place on Wednesdays. For a cost of $12, a freshly cooked two course meal is served, with tea or coffee to follow.
Additionally, nutritious frozen meals are available along with soup or a dessert – call/visit for prices

The Crossing is seeking interested volunteers to join the team ASAP. As a church faith community we ask you to consider if you can spare some time to assist with retail book sales and caf? cooking and serving. Please make contact with them on 56252655 or drop in and see them!

The rector leads a small group in Meditation every 2nd Sunday after the service at Drouin from 11am, newcomers can be shown how to meditate in private sessions prior to joining
